The Pallet Online Stretch Wrapping Machine is not simply a wrapping machine—it is an integrated packaging line.
Unlike standalone wrapping machines, an online wrapping machine is directly integrated into a production line. Products move automatically from upstream conveyors into the wrapping station, where wrapping begins automatically. Film attachment, wrapping, cutting, and wiping are completed without manual intervention, and finished pallets are transferred directly to downstream operations. Forklift transportation is no longer required, allowing packaging to become a seamless part of the production process rather than a separate operation.
Many manufacturers invest heavily in automated production equipment, conveyor systems, and robotic palletizers, yet continue to rely on standalone wrapping machines. Forklifts are used to transport pallets from the production line to the wrapping area and then back to the shipping zone. No matter how efficient the production line becomes, packaging often creates delays due to waiting for forklifts, operators, and manual handling.
As production volume increases, companies often add more wrapping machines and hire additional workers. However, packaging efficiency remains limited because the real issue is not wrapping speed—it is the lack of integration with the production line.
The online wrapping machine eliminates this bottleneck by transforming packaging from a production-line interruption into a continuous process.
The core concept of an online wrapping machine is uninterrupted product flow.
Palletized loads travel on conveyors, stop automatically at the wrapping station, complete the wrapping cycle, and continue to the next process automatically. No operator intervention or forklift assistance is required.
Depending on the production line layout, roller conveyors, chain conveyors, or slat conveyors can be selected. The machine can be connected directly to robotic palletizers, automated warehouses, or shipping systems. Through signal communication with upstream and downstream equipment, the machine automatically detects incoming loads, initiates wrapping, and transfers finished pallets efficiently.
The machine utilizes a heavy-duty slewing bearing combined with sprockets and nylon support rollers, providing a turntable load capacity of up to 2000 kg. Both gear-driven and chain-driven configurations are available.
Compared with conventional chain-driven systems, the slewing bearing structure offers greater rotational accuracy, more uniform load distribution, and enhanced long-term stability. Heavy loads remain secure during wrapping, while lighter loads maintain stable operation, making the system ideal for continuous production environments.
The standard turntable diameter is 2000 mm, suitable for pallet dimensions ranging from 800–1200 mm × 800–1200 mm and wrapping heights from 500–2000 mm. Packaging capacity reaches 10–30 pallets per hour, with inverter-controlled speed adjustment to match production line requirements.
The online wrapping machine is designed for automation from the ground up.
Film attachment, cutting, and wiping are completed automatically through a pneumatic system. The powered pre-stretch carriage delivers film efficiently, while wrapping cycles and film overlap settings are controlled via PLC. Load height is detected automatically.
When integrated with robotic palletizing and automated warehouse systems, the entire workflow—from production to packaging and storage—can operate without manual intervention. Even if initially installed as a standalone automation upgrade, the machine includes communication interfaces that allow future integration with additional automated equipment.
Whether in food and beverage manufacturing, chemical processing, paper production, building materials, or logistics operations, every facility shares the same objective: uninterrupted packaging.
The online wrapping machine can be customized according to conveyor type, load characteristics, and production speed. Optional configurations include top platen devices, oversized turntables, and extended wrapping heights, ensuring smooth integration into virtually any production environment.
As a direct manufacturer of wrapping equipment, we provide support throughout the entire project, including system design, conveyor integration, signal communication setup, installation, and commissioning. Our goal is to ensure that every online wrapping machine becomes a productive and reliable part of your packaging line.
